I was quite amazed at how much work I had left to do on my screen install once I got it to about where you are... many rounds of sanding, primer, and body filler...
Also, I appreciate the pics of the fillers you used. I've been constantly searching available fillers and adhesives to try and find a reasonably priced way that i can properly bond the plastics in the two small trouble areas of my install... From the manufacturer website of that epoxy filler you used, it looks like with that and some of their TPO adhesion promoter, I might be able to do it. Where did you buy that stuff, anyway?
I'm pretty amazed too. Although, it was nasty work. I actually got a real respirator because the stuff was so nasty. The guy at CarQuest (where I bought all the stuff) wouldn't let me walk out of the store without purchasing a respirator (not just a dust mask). I still have a ton of work left to do on the screen, but I'm putting it in my car after another few rounds of sanding and a light coat of paint. I realized I could easily fit a slot load dvd drive in there, so I'm going to do a bit more work after I get a little more cash.
I'm planning to put a textured finish on the screen and all the other work because I like the finish and will make it look completely factory.
I am running Road Runner. I have a picture of the temp probes I'm using earlier in the thread, but I also ordered up a phidgets kit to see if I can get that integrated with Road Runner as well. I wasn't thinking I would be using the temp probe long term, but I'll have to see.
