Just started with my project, i'am currently fitting the screen to the place where the ashtray and the radio have been placed before....

I wish to do the screen finish like mahagony or leather look like the dash, but I dont know how!

get some mahogany stickers perhaps?
or you do a graining effect using two paints. I've done a door with it before.
but to get a 100% match? I'll be difficult

about leather.. I'm thining of doing mine that way, to cut some leather and put it on. I'm sure it'll look nicer than a paint job.

It is not syntethic. It is called "wurzelholz" in german, I think "nut tree" is the english word. This was option in 124. "Zebrano" (no idea of an english word) was default.
There are good fake wurzelholz you can buy, or just get another plate like the one between the seats to cut from.
