Post Front-End

Hi there,

First I want to apologise in advance for my bad English, but my native languages are Luxemburgish, French and German (Luxembourg is a multi-language country)

This is a little strange topic here, since I have started a project for a CarPC but I don't have any car yet

Good morning!

I've have changed some existing .skin and .jpg files., simplified the layout and modified the audio_browser.skin a lot.
Added a loader.skin and browser.RRL

looks fairly interesting, have you thought about posting this in the software forum though? that area is dedicated to front ends.

Thanks,

I'm certainly not re-inventing anything, I'm just making a skin with the options I want to integrate into the front end.

I will certainly upload the skin when it is at least 80% finished. I will then put a post in the software forum.

@ ADMIN, MODERATORS: Is it possible to move this thread to the WORKLOG forum please?
EDIT : And by the way change the topic name to "Project BioHazardous Material" ?

Thx

I forgot to mention that it actually is just a SKIN for ROAD RUNNER Software, not a new Front-End program.

Sorry, added this "detail" to the top post.

@Gti VR6 : what is QAing?

I was offering to QA his front end - but now I've learned it's not a front end, it's only a skin, so I'm offering to QA the front end...

doing quality assurance is fun, but only for certain people, not everyone likes it...

I QA for Ascendix, we customize and sell CRM packages (SAGE, Microsoft, etc.)

Yeah, support is fun for some people too. I love my job actually, get to play with all sorts of neat toys. I'm going to get my hands on that new Sony UMPC device. I think I may be able to borrow one for a few weeks, see what kind of car computing potential it has...

Thanks for offering your help, really nice!

When I'm finished with my "skin" I can send it to you, so if you want, you can do some "Quality Assurance" of it

I've got the PSD files from Adam Dorman, Thank You very much, Adam. So I will redo the skin images starting now.
