And what OBD-II connector you use?
The Ai-Net is Alpine's proprietary communication cable (transmits analog audio and control signals between Alpine components). All head units usually have a remote-on output. If not, you can tap into the wiring harnass' ACC line and run it anywhere it needs to go.
I haven't gotten an OBD-II connector yet. I still need to get the software configured with GPS etc before I even think about OBD-II. I would probably get the ElmScan, but I haven't researched it too much.
