SBN is definitely too far.

I am already trying to get to SVR though. I have heard its a great show. Hopefully I can make it happen. Did they say anythign else about Pre-reg?

I might hit a few USACi shows this year too. It looks like there are a couple in the area. Maybe even one IASCA show in Chicago. Woohoo! Now to only finish my install before you. hahahah. Good luck at SBN!

We'll be making a plate for the speakers to mount to...so don't worry about the square opening.

From this weekend:

Kicks:

Securing the kick and making sure it's level:

Kicks secured in the car and covered with Black Hole Mat:

We will be using a plate of anodized aluminum and will be bolting it in with these bolts:

With Black Hole Mat applied to the insides of the kick plates:

Because there's some wire that passes through the kicks, we trimmed the edge of the kick plate with some door edge molding to help prevent any cutting of the wire.

We enlarged the holes in the fenders:

Silicone used to seal the kick enclosure in the fenders from the outside elements and seal it to the internal enclosure.

Wow, I just now found this thread. Looking good there. Glad to see you really getting into the welding aspect. It opens a ton of creative ideas, huh?

Anyway, I have a few questions for you.

1. Are you still using the H701 for this season?

If so, are you wanting to swap to an all PC setup mid season?

If not, have you got your all PC ready to go?

2. Do the op-amps on the sound card have any effect on the fiberoptic digital out or only on the analog out?

It looks like your planning to use the analog outs on the sound card due to the RCA jacks your adding. So I'm a bit confused. Can you explain your signal chain for me? I'm obviously missing something basic.
