Matrix:
The mid range and the mid bass are running a 4 wire twist. The issue here was mostly due to size. Using this method we're able to effectively use a larger gauge wire (when you combine the two) in an area or a screw terminal where we wouldn't be able to use a larger gauge otherwise.

Hope that helps!

The only thing that kind of looks off is the bolts on the 5". Are you going to replace them with something nicer like button heads or something?
Everything else is

Nope - those are stainless cap head screws.
When the grills on the 5s are removed, you'll find that the screws used to hold the 5s in place are the same...cap heads. Only they have a groove in them to hold the grill in place. We used the cap heads in the back on the amp rack, to hold the computer in and on the fuse pannel under the hood. Same thing with the battery bracket.
It's a theme, carried throughout the car.
Oh yeah, it's the same screw used to hold the tweeter and 3" in place and it also holds the grills on those.

The pic is kind of small, so I couldn't really tell. Maybe it's the color that stands out from the black?

d*mn you're quick!! I they kind of look like the connectors from a 4pin power molex out of a computer but I don't think the pin from one of those would fit through the PCB like that.. did you solder the speaker wire directly to those pins or did you crimp them?

Did you have that issue?

you might want to test it on a separate machine before you get everything put together and tucked away... that would suck

already put in the car. that's why I've made it so that the enclosure can be easily removed.
I've been reading a few threads on other forums about the card that's making me think about switching to a USB or FireWire solution anyways, or making the switch back to the 1/8" splitters and having a custom, high end 1/8" splitter made that meets our expectations in terms of quality.
