2006 C-Max trend CarPC

Hello from Istanbul/Turkey.
I am working on a carpc project, i want to share my workshop logs.

This is orginal view of my dash.

First of all, I bought 7 inch touch screen LCD screen from internet. That is innovatec.

I build a sample frame. i make a mould. And i casted frame.

My first frame type is different of this. I have to change it because of phsically problems.

measured and cutted..

identified to buttons position

attached.

Then last design pictures. I use araldite for casting to frame. Araldite is really usefull. Just mix 3 pcs liquid + paint andd mould it.. 30 min. later it is ready to use. I bought it from bauhaus. It is hardware dealer in Turkey.

Last view of my frame.

Nice job!

But get rid of Windows ME. Get yourself a copy of XP. You'll be SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much happier!

That is card slots. "Credit card size" cards can be store there. For example autopark entry cards, highway pay bill cards etc.
