G'day DJMickyG,

I'm wondering if you can re-link the photos contained in your old abandoned Forx Worklog ? Specifically, I'd like to see the photos in posts #39, #46 and especially #51. Alternatively, if you'd prefer not to revisit the old thread, then perhaps you can re-post some in this thread or provide a link for us ?

I know that Plague was also interested in them - see below.

Hey djmickyg,

I see you've updated the top of the worklog with some more progress photos earlier this month - good stuff. Looks like that custom install behind the seats is really coming along. Keen to hear more about what's going in each spot, etc.

Cheers,

Long.1

thanks for the comments

I have had a little bit og progress the past few weeks.

atm the moment im doing all the re/wiring, tring to make that all look neat, (although im never happy with my wire)

The 3 spots will have the pc in one, a small 8" Rockford Fosgate sub in one box from the old car and the middle box has the amp on one side and all the mess of wires and fuses etc on the other side..

next is to make a cover for all the top so i can put all my rubbish back in it..

To be honest, I saw Micky's setup a couple weeks ago at the Dyno-day, and it is looking sweet!

Keep up the good work, with those custom enclosures no one will even guess what you have in the UTE

djmickyg,

How did you make the enclosures? did you use fleece to make them? I ususally use a chopstrand matt and it never comes out as nice as what you have done for your enclosures.

na i didnt use fleece, the the base of the boxes i moulded directly in the car, (covered with masking tape), and the flat sides I made seperatly on a flat waxed surface and once dry, i glued it all together with a Resin+talc power mix to make a thick glue and then trimmed off all the excess.
Ive coloured the resin with a black pigmint cus i dont like the look of the blue/green finish normally and i didnt want to spray the insides of the boxes.
I've also used a chop straned max.
hope that alll makes sence.

small update.
Done a little work to the car, new injectors, hi flow cat and a nice tune and I'm now making a healthy 302Kw at the wheel's, goes really good now.. was only aiming for ~270 but they managed to cram more from it.

That's a pretty good dyno graph. 302kw for a ute will be fun in the wet and in the dry

I had mine dyno'ed the other day. I thought 115KW at the wheels for a stock 2L turbo was pretty good.
