i have 2 el caminos, and i always wanted to rebuild one with a SS monte carlo front end, to bad is the parts that you are missing.good luck man!

honestly I hate fords, but I hate imports too, more so. I'm just going with a cheap truck right now and the Bronco that I found runs good and is $1000 so I'm sticking with that for now... until I run it into the ground that is

Sorry to hear about the total. Brings back memorys of my 82 Monte Carlo and my nephew's 84 Hurst Olds with the lightning shifters.

Always had it in the back of my head to get an old Monte Carlo some day as a project car.

My friend wants to buy my Monte Carlo but if your looking for a project car we can talk, almost no rust frame is in perfect condition only needs a few parts. I was going to do it myself but the insurance comp totaled it and I just don't have the money or time to fix it up my self if your interested let me know.
