I found the file ehshell.exe in the windows/ehome directory... but it gives me an error stating that the program failed to initiate and was shut down.
Other than that the OS works fine. Just nothing special looks like I will be installing win2k or mabye even trying the 4008 build of Longhorn.

You need .NET framework and service pack 1 installed as well. Sounds like one of these is missing, I had same error before installing .NET framework from windows update site.
Try sticking the text below in a text file and save it as media.bat and run it:
date 07-01-2002
REM Executes remote control unit first.
%systemroot%\ehome\medctrro.exe
REM Execute shell now.
%systemroot%\ehome\ehshell.exe

I downloaded the .net install package and tried to run it. It said that my version of windows already had the components installed (It is a clean install) also SP1 was already installed.
I ran windows update and restarted and still the same error occurs when I try to run ehshell.exe "Application failed to initialize properly error 0xc0000135.
I also made a .bat with the text you posted (thanks) and it came up with multiple errors of the same type.
Any other suggestions???
Thanks for the help.

Well I got it to work,
I found that the installation was corrupted right on the .iso so I scrapped it and after much packet searching... found the 8-in-1 WINXP MCE TPC cd. (ONE HELL OF AN XP DISK)
This thing is bootable and installs any type of XP install you want... without a flaw or hitch.
Now I have MCE running on my epia 800 nicely... and it is PERFECT!!
Now Im just waiting on my Xenarc to arrive and I will have all the parts for the Sentraputer.
Thanks to all those that helped with my MCE problems.
