This is too awesome! For the price I might just get it for curiosity reasons. Would be interested to see this in action...plus way cheaper than the Carnetix.

The only thing I do not see that may require some looking into is 'anti-thump'.

Well I got confirmation from mini-box support that the product does not have anti-thump.

Yup.... It is a buck / boost topology. So it can produce 19V if you have V(IN) below or above 19V.

So if V(In) is 12V, you can have 19V output.

If someone were to get something like this, what other component or modification would be necessary to prevent the 'thump' when powering on the amp. This board does have the ability to perform more fine tuned programming via USB..maybe something can be tweaked that way?

i went ahead and placed an order for this device from mini-box.
to my surprise i recieved an email telling me they cant verify the adress after the transaction went through with paypal. after i called them they said it is being shipped from brazil and they requested that i email them a copy of my credit card....i canceled the order... sounds very shady to me

Yeah...mini-box is legit but it sounds like someone is trying to spam with intent to steal your ID. No legitimate business or bank will ever ask for your information online like that, especially via email. Shady indeed.

That is totally fishy! I demand an explanation from the vender!

i would too like an explanation from them...
here is part of the email that was sent to me:

"Dear Customer,

As we were processing your order, we ran into a small problem with your credit card. The shipping/billing address verification returned a negative result. Since the credit card company requests that we ship only to verified addresses, please take a moment to verify the address one more time.

Please scan us/email a copy of your credit card, in order to speed up the authentication of your credit card...."
