The Custom Title Elite are a small group consisting mainly of users who have been around for a while and attracted the attention of the Moderator/Admin Frodo. (See The Frodo Era in the My Thread Mafia group)

How they came to his noticed varied from a simple innocuous comment in a thread to a downright case of begging for a custom title.

However Frodo wasn't the first Admin/Moderator to dispense customer titles, a former admin bgoodman also dished some out, but he has since stepped down and no longer dispenses them.

After a forum upgrade some of those that had Custom Titles have since lost them.
