Yup....pocket pc 2000 was built on windows ce 3.0. Pocket pc was renamed as windows mobile for 2003. Windows mobile 6 runs on windows ce 5.2. Hope that helps...
Dang... i never knew that about the m2. Thanks for the heads up. Recently I've been travelling with a booster battery in my trunk (just in case). Are you planning to sell this unit? If so, price?
Now back to the topic... I found some info on xda that implies the windows ce apps can run on wm. I know that wm was built using ce as it's foundation but anyone confirm this is so (I'm also googling for confirmation)? If I expand my search using ce I seem to be getting somewhere.

i can certainly build you one... im guessing $20 would be enough. i know a lot of people have m2's and would like a low voltage shutdown... maybe i could start a small business?
this is my latest design, if you are into this kinda thing by all means go ahead and build one-

Yeah I've actually seen you other posts about this so I'm familar with it.
With regards to the WM6 VNC server I think I found a free app. I'm a going to test it out but so far it's running on my phone ok. Check it out here. If it goes well then my install will truly be boss.
yes without making it overly complex, this as shown will draw about 30ma at most when activated (15ma for the relay and another 15 at crazy best for the rest of the circuit) i figure that is negligible even on dead car batteries, its the same as two LED light bulbs....

well i think i will add another larger capacitor to the power legs on both the comparator and the timer. but other then that, most of these components are rated for 50v or more... and its all current limited so i dont see it being a problem.
i will find that out though, thats for sure. my parts should be here friday... also, the power filter coil i will be adding also has capacitance along with the coil itself.
Okay so this thing worked flawlessly. Configured a password, got the phone's ip, downlowed the real vnc viewer and bang I'm in! Only bad thing is on every restart the phones ip changes (just like pc) but other than that it's all good![]()
