Reduce the amount of ram xp sees

I know I've read seen this info here before, but searching for "reduce ram" "limit ram" "xp see less ram" and more doesn't bring me back to that thread...

I remember someone had mentioned that you can restrict how much ram XP can see/use. So I can make XP see only 512MB of my 1024MB of physical ram.

Anyone remember how to do this??

No one remembers seeing this info before??

Add a "/MAXMEM=" switch to your boot.ini file.
