    Help w/ TinyXP

I'm trying to install TinyXP onto my Tos l35 Satelitte.
I keep getting the error: "Make sure that the selected folder or drive contains 'i386' or 'AMD64' directory and proper Windows instalation files. nLite is for pre-instal environment only, meaning that it cannot modify an existing Windows instalation. An easy way is to insert your Windows installation CD drive and select you CD drive. Never copy th files directly to a partirion root, create an empty folder first."
-I am using TinyXP downloaded from http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/winn...ersion-xp.html
-I have followed the directions to the #2.

    What Am I Doing Wrong?

I believe these folders contain the main installation files that are taken to install windows to the hard drive.

I DONT know whether this will work, but looking at it there is a file in there called lastsession.ini in the tools folder.

This can be imported when you load NLite manually, then all you do is run through the wizard, just make sure you click bootable iso on the menu, all other options should already be pre-selected so all you should have to do is click next on all the options.

You will also be able to change anything you want as you go, ie drivers, tweaks etc so you can personalise it a bit more.

At the end it will create an ISO you can burn to disk, this should do the same job.

    lastsesions.ini

Yes that lastsesions.ini file is there, but when in 'nLite' that file does not show when I try to browse folders, but when I open My computer it is there. I tried creating a new folder with just this file in it, but no luck.
    An other suggestions?

    Edit:

I see what the download is. I'll ask eXP in a second, he would obviously know.

when you load nlite it's one of the 1st things it asks for. Just click the import button at the bottom left when it asks, and browse for the lastsession.ini

It's a way of stripping Winxp of all the crap, you only need a win xp disk (pro/home) and the software and your away! the software does all the work theres very little to select other than a few buttons!

Yeah, I saw the title, and I assumed it was TinyXP by the actual author, not a script to create your own.

I'm use to the actual TinyXP OS.

Still going to reach out to him/others to see what this issue is.

Worth it, to find out someones bound to know the solution!

Its basically a legal way of doing it yourself, i'd imagine it would be illegal to have the completed project hosted.

It is illegal depending on the country the host resides in. Also illegal to download depending on location of the downloader.

So for 90%+ on this forum, doing either is illegal.
