You should be able to disable error messages in the bios. My bios allows me to turn off the keyboard error specifically.
Ok so my computer has a default that if it doesn't have a mouse or keyboard plugged in. On startup it will say error: no keyboard found, and no mouse found. Then it takes an extra 5 seconds, and keeps on loading windows like it just realized there was a touchscreen installed.
Is there anyway I can bypass this check for a mouse/keyboard? Maybe skip it some how?

Yeah google!
I am running windows 2000. My BIOS doesn't offer much, but I'll check it out again tonight.
What kind of mobo? My BIOS says something like Halt on error and you can pick all, keyboard/mouse or none.
yea, I dont have a BIOS set up that lets me pick this option. I press f5 for boot up options and it says boot from: Hard disk. and thats it....
I have another one that says f2 for setup, but there is nothing under there about any keyboard/mouse setup.
Should be something similar under the F2 option. May be a option under advanced config or something. What kind of motherboard? Make and model will help.
Your entering the BIOS boot menu and not the BIOS itself. There will be another key to press on post that lets you into the BIOS proper, something like the DEL or F10 key

A last ditch option would be to take apart a keyboard and take the little circuit board out of it. Then shorten the cable and just plug the circuit board into the keyboard port. They usually don't warn if there is a keyboard and no mouse.
I am not sure if this will disable the touchscreen or not...is your touchscreen USB?
