turn virtual pc into iso image?

I have a virtual pc running Windows 2003 server that I am tweaking before it goes into my car. Can I now take the tweaked os and burn that to a cd (with all added software and settings saved into the iso)?

Otherwise I just have to take note of everything I do to the virtual pc to ensure it works...then do it all again when I put it in my car.

Thanks to anyone who gives me their time.

Being that the hardware will appear different when you try to put that VM image in the car, it probably won't work, i.e. bluescreen. It would be better to start from scratch and duplicate all the changes you made to the VM in the car.

You can do it with VMware. Build your virtual machine, then make a ghost image of it including all the drivers for the new machine. I found the instructions here... http://www.vmware.com/support/v2p/doc/V2P_TechNote.pdf

I'm in the process of building mine on my mac and then dumping it to the CF drive later this week.

Still a bad idea since you end up with old settings and junk from the previous "hardware".
