    nlite help...

what are some preferred settings for playing music, dvds, surfing the net, reading PDF, viewing saved pics, installing a webcam, using iphone with phoco(even possible?) wifi, bluetooth, touchscreen, audigy 2 nx, gps, usb devices and such?

ive been away from carputing for a while and dont know what i am doing anymore. i hit my head (pretty damn hard) and dont remember how to do almost anything other than very basic computing and installing. everyones help is greatly appreciated. im sure noobs could gain a lot of use from this info as well. i feel like one now :\

i pretty much would like to make a install disc for my specified setup. is that even possible?

You'll have to do some research and probably some experimentation there.
Understand it's not about "settings" so much as stripping out unwanted/unneeded functionality and automagically installing apps & drivers.

With nLite, the best starting point is a full install of Windoze and the drivers needed for your hardware.
After that, you can work on stripping out files, turning off services, adding configurations, etc.

Building an install disc that is exactly what you want takes lots of time and effort. It's not as simple as someone saying "turn this on and turn that off".

Very possible. But it will take some work.

Dude, you asked a very open-ended question that doesn't really have a cut & dried answer.
On top of that, nobody has any obligation to respond to your thread. Don't go scolding the forum membership for not meeitng your expectations.
This isn't a job for the majority of us.
And for those few whose job it is, they support the products sold by mp3car, not help set up custom installs with tools like nLite.
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?

Under normal circumstances, a signature would go here.

I recommend going to nLite and asking the people that make custom installs. I messed with nLite years ago, and to be honest I found it just wasn't worth the effort. For me it's easier to get my setup the way I like it, and then back it up to my WHS for an easy restore if necessary.
