I copy and pasted the ones listed on the thread about ewf, but I will double check. Cheers.Originally Posted by FetLyd

Did you remember this one?
Code:Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\ewf] "ErrorControl"=dword:00000001 "Group"="System Bus Extender" "Start"=dword:00000000 "Type"=dword:00000001 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{71A27CDD-812A-11D0-BEC7-08002BE2092F}] "UpperFilters"="Ewf" [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\ewf\Parameters] [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\ewf\Parameters\Protected] [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\ewf\Parameters\Protected\Volume0] "VolumeID"="{1EA414D1-6760-4625-8CBE-4F9F85A48E15}" "Type"=dword:00000001 "ArcName"="multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)"
Will need to double check that when I get home from work, cheers.Originally Posted by FetLyd

Make sure you have the right ewf.sys its in the right directory system32/drivers
and you have the correct ewf manager in system32 dir.
I kept getting the error1 it was because I was using ewf FROM XPE SP1 and not SP2![]()

So you downloaded and used this file:
http://test.crimsonstain.net/EWF.zip
Did you read this forum aswell to see the problems I had?
New EWF + MinLogon and CF instructions
Yesm think that was the ones I used.
Ah no, didn't see those. Wil read that thread.

Eureka!
Witched to safe mode and the winlogon.exe rename and minlongon.exe rename problem was overcome. Followed the rest of the directions. Piece of cake.
