come on man post some details,ini file,somethingThat guy is probably me. Indeed, diference is hiberfill.sys as I do not use hibernation, so I could get rid of it. However, my curent WinXP is 280 MB not 380 MB

nLite your Windows of everythig but Event log, apply minlogon, eliminate Administrator profile, delete hibersys.fil and pagefile.sys. Clean you WINDIR folder of *.inf, *.log, *.txt, *.ini and INF, HELP, LastGood, Assembly, Debug, cache, Installer, java, Media, twain_32, registration ans Driver cache folders. Clean SYSTEM32 folder of unused keyboard layouts and language files, DllCache, IME, ias, icsxml, Microsoft, Micromedia, ras, OOBE, web,... folders. Remove fonts you do not use. Apply my patches I have posted in another thread. Remove OEMBIOS.* files in SYTEM32 folder.

Will do, but I've concluded the Lexar will not work. Now I'm looking for a Sandisk Extreme 1G. Hard to find those buggers.
