It would be really nice if we can have a backup link or information consolidated here itself.
I followed all of the steps, checked, re-checked. When I check the status using cmd prompt...I also get "no EWF volume found". I'm attempting to set this up on my hard drive so that I can take advantage of horm only.

I've been thinking about changing my car PC from regular hard disk XP to a CF based system.
This thread has been established for some time now and I'm wondering if those who have gone down this route would do the same again. Or is it a case of having come so far down the road you don't want to give up and are determined to battle on to the end.
This is not meant as criticism, I just want to understand the situation.
