Oh sorry... I copied those instructions from a larger set of instructions I made which described how to use the mod first on a VMWare or VirtualPC virtual machine (VM). It just means to copy the files to the PC you are using.

and this is all good even if you dont want to boot from a CF card - purely to reduce boot times??

minlogon is good to reduce boot times. EWF is just to protect your filesystem. EWF won't drastically help your boot time.
You can still use it for a hibernate-once-resume-many(HORM) system, even if you're not using a CF card.
It's really up to you how you choose to apply it.

so you can just use minlogon - dont have to use EWFas well?
