Try leaving wordpad open with some changes and see if it prompts you to save them when you try to shut down?

I have the exact same problem with Centrafuse. I have had this behaviour before when my ACPI button did work. I would really like to know how the process for Centrafuse (in my case) can be shutdown correctly. Because i think it is caused because the running process isn`t stopped correctly (and thus it can`t save the settings correctly) when the system shuts down.
    If you`re not first, you`re last !

The guys over at the BYOAC forums claim that...

"changing the Nlite "unattended" setting to "computer type = Standard PC" fixed the problem, now the computer's power button works in windows."
