Anyone ever changed the hibernation Windows XP screen?

I want to change the hibernation Windows XP screen, the one that shows the windows logo right before it goes off. Which unless you changed your boot screen, is the same one that comes up on boot.
I had to change my boot screen to prevent the screen from rolling, so I was hoping this would do the trick, plus I think it would be cool anyway.
Any ideas?

I did a quick google search and came by this link:

it seems very technical, but I'll sit down and read it later

edit: it may be easier than it looks for just changing the pictures. if you wanted to change the orientation, etc, it looks like it gets harder and you'd have to use a hex editor.

it's a freeware resource editor

run it, open c:\windows\system32\ntoskrnl.exe

it's going to be under the "bitmaps folder"

and you can export the pictures, modify them, and replace them. remember to back up the original!s

Here is a strange thing though, I have had this problem with the window scrolling or rolling during boot, and have tried alot of differnt boot options. I don't kow what the problem is because I have tried everything in the bios and boot options. I was hoping that if I changed the hibernating window, it would solve the same scrolling when going into hibernation that it used to do when booting up. Thanks for the info, Ill take a look at it and see what I can figure out.

Now that I think about it, when I was modifying my boot screen with that little software package, don't remember which one, it let you change all the graphics in that exe file. I remember that because I saw the word hibernation in one of those. Has anyone who has changed there boot screen in XP without using the kernel on boot, have a hibernating windows screen that shows you your boot screen? I tried to change my boot screen the supposed simple way, but that didn't work, so I had to use something else which is why I am asking. Let me try it on my win 2000 machine and see what happens.

I know, thats where I got the link to download the software. Not everyone on that thread was able to just add the switch /bootlogo /noguiboot (off the top of my head) when trying it on XP. Actually, it seems to be the people with Epia mobo's. On that same thread, there is a link to download a little software package that does it all, and its free, and that worked for me. It lets you modify every single little graphic, including the little slider thingy. The link is on post #41 for anyone that is having a problem and needs that.

So is there anyone that is NOT running an Epia but is running XP, that was able to add the switches to change there boot screen, and have that same graphic show up when they go into hibernation?
