Bump.
I play divix but I can't go full screen because my graphics chip was really meant for an industrial display and it only has 2 megs of memory. The frame rate slows way down full screen...... except when i watch the simpsons![]()
Bump.

Will be trying these settings tonight. I am gonna go through the nlite wizard first and have a go first. If I fail (Which is likely), then I will use those settings from post #28
Watch this space...
Can someone help me please!
I have tried the settings on post #27, tried modifying and leaving alone and everytime it installs, I get an error saying there was an internal system problem. This happens during the first copy process of files.
It works flawlessly with the original xp discs.
Cheers Guys
Can you please give me a step by step guide to how your doing this ? The post you left was much to vague.
Example:
1- Start nLite
2- Copy Files from XP CD to file named xxx on the HDD
3- Run nLite
4- Point nLite to the new folder containing XP files
The clearer you are (even though it may be a bit redundant) the fast I / we will be able to give you the anwser !!!
Thanks and good luck !

Sorry Guys, been a bit busy.Originally Posted by IntellaWorks
The process was as follows:
Copy XP CD to Hard Drive
Run nLite and point to xp files on hdd
Select the settings that were in post #27
Build the ISO
Burn the ISO using the tool you recommended
Reboot the computer
I managed to get it to work but it wasn't stable. Windows kept crashing.
I got it working by making sure the CD had the same name as the original XP cd and it worked. Not sure why it keeps crashing though. Messages keep popping up saying Dr Watson has crashed. Would you like to send an error report. This also happens to Media Player and Internet Explorer. Very Strange!!!
Is usb webcams supposed to work properly with this setup? :s
Honestly, no idea if you try it can you please leave feedback ??

Well, mine didnt work, so thats why I asked :P
I also had problems with my usb harddrive. I gets installed properly, but it does not recieve a drive letter so it is not explorable in windows. However, in programs such as northon ghost you can see the drive and its partitions, but as i said i doesnt get any drive letter...
It doesnt support firewire.
And when i installed it on my M10000 there is an "unknown device" whitch can not be installed or recognized... dunno what it is :s
i seem to have a more fundamental problem...
i'm using an install CD from dell (this shouldn't be a problem right?)
anyways i do everything and select the same things from the list..
i create the ISO... and burn it using the recommended program..
and when i try to use the CD to boot... it doesn't... it just doesn't do anythign and tries to open it as a microsoft picture book file or something... same thing when i try to boot from CD when i restart the computer.
what am i doing wrong?
