Safe nLite setting.ini

alright... so i go to nliteos.com to find the .998 version and be done with it.... but there is no link for that version... all i can find is the new 1.0

can anyone shed some light on where to find the .998 version?

hmm, seems to be hard to find

well, at least stay away from 0.999...again just my own opinion.

Gonna try the latest when switching to newly trimmed OS, will get back on subject.

Is anyone running phonecontrol?

I have nlited, (with or without minlogon), installed directx as per phoco requirement. installed dotnetfx, as per requirement... still get an error on phoco startup... (This has been traced to nlite installs, but it doesnt have much info... here is the error anywas)

I finally found .998, and the two configs posted here both work great, no problems yet in VPC. I'm currently tansferring the ini manually to 1.0 beta 1, less quite a few things I don't need, hopefully that will work out better than .999. I'll probably use one of the RVM update packs again, which are very convenient, and come with some nice tools.

I'm at a 127mb ISO now, 100% stable so far, but I'm still not sure about running with no pagefile using only 256mb ram. I can max out my memory pretty easily if I try. I may have to shell out for a 512mb dimm. But that would be okay anyway if I end up not hibernating. If I can get to a 15 second cold boot I won't use hibernation. I need one of these!

I''ve started burning my ISOs to DVD-R and overwriting previous ones. I've wasted literally a dozen CDRs on previous versions. But I'm close now to having everything like I want it.

There'sd a lot you can remove post-install that Nlite doesn't touch. I've been doing it manually, if anyone can point me to a simple walkthrough or app for custom removal scripts, I would appreciate it.

I've given up on integrating Minlogon into the ISO, if someone has done that successfully, please post exactly what you did.
