Yep. A member has done it. Forgot the name though. He's got an MR-2 Spider.

I have 2 tiny trackballs lying around. I had given up on them since I went the touchscreen route. But suddenly they are far more interesting again

. I'm pretty sure I can write the software to interface with them too since it's just an input device.

It's pretty straight forward. I just read the intro on the online help and it all makes since now.

I installed Road Runner and that works great.

It is really easy to configure the remote, I'd reccomend Girder to anyone!!

What a cool program.

Could you set up Girder to use the steering wheel buttons?

This is something that would be really nice... I have volume up/down buttons and a next track button on my wheel and I'd love to be able to use it to control volume, etc. in FP.

Probably... but don't quote me on that. Ask some of the guys who've bimmer done installs.
