Thread: Any way to automatically run an .exe after return from hibernation?

i have also a problem, and need to start a programm, because my radio card stops working after hibernation, so i want to close and load radio application each time automatically. any way to run program after hibernation ?

I ended up modifying the following script in my car to restart my GPS as well as do some other stuff on resume (and hibernate)

Pretty much the vbscript file runs in the background waiting for power management events to occur then executes applications as necessary.

If you use nLite or other software to trim XP down, be careful. That script uses WMI so you need to make sure you keep that in your XP image.

I think you can do this with with Frodoplayer.

If you're using Frodo, there is a "Run on Resume" option that executes a program on return from hibernation.
