i have also a problem, and need to start a programm, because my radio card stops working after hibernation, so i want to close and load radio application each time automatically. any way to run program after hibernation ?
I am using a Motorola Oncore GPS that sometimes will start working faster if I run a program that resets it into NMEA mode. Anyhow, when I turn on my car, the HORM image starts up quickly, but I'd prefer not to have to manually run this GPS reset program every time. Is there some way to get WinXP to automatically execute a program after returning from hibernation? Anyone?

I ended up modifying the following script in my car to restart my GPS as well as do some other stuff on resume (and hibernate)

possible fix, err, bandaid for usb gps/touchscreen suspend/hibernate woes
Pretty much the vbscript file runs in the background waiting for power management events to occur then executes applications as necessary.
Let me know if you have some problems.

If you use nLite or other software to trim XP down, be careful. That script uses WMI so you need to make sure you keep that in your XP image.
I have been meaning to rewrite that script into a small little standalone application. maybe one of these days I will...
If you're using Frodo, there is a "Run on Resume" option that executes a program on return from hibernation.

Done for the most part. Except tweaking the software.
