Someone said 512 to a GB w/o out page file, this is un true if you have an nLited system, because there are less processes being used you can have a system w/ 128/256MB and no page file.

To anwser the Q about performance... Yes nLite will increase the performance of your system simply because there are less things running on your machine at boot time.
Progress [I will seriously never be done!]
    Via EPIA MII
    512MB RAM
    OEM GPS (embedded)
    nLite WinXP pro on
    1GB Extreme III CF card
    Carnetix 1260 startup/ DC-DC regulator
Software: Still, re-Writing my existing front end in .Net

Have you timed hibernation/resume? I'd assume since more physical memory is being used, it would take a little more time to read/write to the hiberfile.

i did my nlite install and was breaking 900+mb ... (164mb install files turned into 900+)

so i'm assuming pagefile.sys as well as some other files make up a large portion of this...

how do i delete it? I can't even find it... i'm thinking windows is hiding it.

Also... does turning page file (VMM) on the epia M series boards really affect it?
Here is a .reg for ya:

    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\Se ssion Manager\Memory Management]

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Session Manager\Memory Management]

..just paste in a textfile save and name it whatevva.reg ...doubleclick!
