    I currently run an epia 800 system so it's slower than death... but yeah, xplite improved the boot time a lot, along with that microsoft boot optimizer thing... disabling all the unnecessary services and cutting the fat with xplite, I cut my actual windows boot time by about 50%

    LAN access to files works one way using minlogon. BT works perfectly here

    Can I get a link or some other info on "that microsoft boot optimizer thing?" A Google search isn't coming up with anything there.

    my third attempt with nlite has given me a 350mb install

    everything works so far with RoadRunner and wireless networking
    i love nlite

    Its possible to do a Windows XP footprint of about 200Meg to run RoadRunner and Wireless networking.

    i hear that 300megs is already pushing it...so 200 would be pretty impressive
