It doesnt seem to be a flash drive, but more of a 1" hard drive!?

Does this mean ill have *infinite* writes, compared to the *finite flash drives?

Also, will this drive be good for booting off of? it seems to be faster than most usb flash drives....

Its going to be on a shuttle based carputer, supports usb flash drives in the bios...
