actually, i'm working on a whole new version of XP System Builder. the long term goal would be to actually "build" an XP image like Target Designer does, but with my busy schedule it may take a while. I've really gotten into the whole build process, it's just a matter of seeing if we can tap into it to build an XP image instead. The second, quicker, option I'm working on right now is on using a Target Designer configuration (the .slx file that contains the configuration for your XPe image) and use that to decide what to remove from an XP CD. that way you know there are no dependency issues. Unfortunately right now it gets stuck after the 1st reboot (the GUI setup screen) so something is getting screwed, but the fact it gets that far to me is a good sign. there's a lot of stuff we can do with the XPe database and libraries. I wish MSFT would consider the hobbyist license like Andy Allred wrote about in his blog earlier this year when they saw my EWF hack.
