different gfx driver per user login?

Is there any way to have XP load different graphics drivers for different users? Until I get a power supply for my dedicated computer, my tablet pc is pulling double duty. I found a messy way to get the integrated intel chip to display 800x480, but it locks it at that resolution and the tablet screen won't display anything. In order to use the tablet again outside of the car, I have to reinstall the standard driver.

What I'd like to be able to do is have a regular login for daily work at normal resolutions, and a car login at 800x480 that loads a frontend. I'm pretty sure the answer is no, since the driver loads before you login, but I thought I'd check anyway.

I suppose the alternative is to dual boot. I don't see why that wouldn't work, but it just seems like there could be a better way. I'm new to the dual boot thing so here come my spoonfeeding requests. Stop reading now if it bothers you.
Can I activate two copies of XP on the same pc with the same serial?
Can one OS see files on the other OS's partition, or do I need a third for common files like music?

The drivers are part of the HAL (Hardware Abstraction Layer, for those who care), which loads before Windows starts dealing with users.
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?

Under normal circumstances, a signature would go here.
