    Glad you like your setup. I'm a power user and needed something faster. I have a ton of stuff running simulateously. I haven't timed my boot-up but its nearly instantaneous.

    well.....i dont know about you guys. But if i'm about to take a trip somewhere for a week......or even a weekend, I usually unplug the car computer, as I don't want it to drain. But even if you didnt, a second battery should give you at least another week

    I dont see the point in it for car pc boot up times, essentially its the same as going into standby, you are storing the system state in ram, and then just powering the ram

    yea my computer booted up that fast when it had a fresh install. Why not show us something more practical, like a rig with some actual programs in it.

    I think that's the problem with this, 4GB isn't going to get very far in terms of amount of programs it can hold, plus all other data, music, videos etc.
