    Question Question about Hibernation

Okay ive done it before, I just want to enable it so it showes up on my winXP shut down menu instead or with stand by. I have selected it in control panel power management and all the drivers work so the computer is able to go into hibernation via the task manager but it will not show up on the shut down menu. What am i forgeting to enable/change to make it appear?

    Thanks

Start > Control Panel > Display > Screen Saver tab > Power > Hibernate tab > Check 'Enable hibernation'
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?

Under normal circumstances, a signature would go here.

Yeah i have it enabled but the standard displayed is standby.

    The shift key works...thats incredible.

Is there away to make hibernation standard displayed...or like on my laptop, display both at the same time?

Or you can make a shortcut by creating a shortcut and entering this:

    rundll32.exe PowrProf.dll, SetSuspendState
