EWF download?

Where can I find the EWF files to download? I followed the instructions here: "Embedding" Windows XP but apparently I'm ending up with the wrong versions. I'm getting the "failed getting protected volume etc." with all the right registry and files in place as in the post http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/winn...tructions.html which he solved by getting the ewf.zip on the website which is no longer active. Any help or anybody have these files?

I'm doing the exact same step right now and as far as I can read into that tutorial, EWF is provided with Windows Embedded SP2 but I dont understand if I have to install regular XP first and then this or is this XPe a whole new installation of a windows?

Here is the trial version of XPe

Install it and then pick through the directory you installed it too. It won't affect the current XP install because you need to answer questions and set configurations so a disk image can be created.

I installed that version of xpe and got the files from the "repository" network folder. I got the most recent version of the files from the folder (since there's two) and they're not working.

Maybe this will help since it covers EWF eventhough it is discussing HORM
Just HORM only...

I had it working but made too many changes and haven't reimpleamented since.

I've got the same problem as 1Munkey, extracted the files from the embedded sp2, and no go.

If someone could upload the working files from their install, it would be much appreciated! Thanks.

Alright, I got the files!

Once I put in the new files, it works like a charm~

It seems microsoft has the old files in the xp embedded free trial install package.

1Munkey, try these out and let me know if it works for you too. If so, I'll leave the files hosted.
