You need a WiFi network adapter.
Most people go wth a USB adapter for the similicity, but most of the cheap-o ones aren't going to get you a good conenction.
I recommend the SENAO model that I use. It's high-power and you can mate it to an external antenna if you choose. Even if you don't, it's far more powerful than most.
The GPS is a unit in and of itself and is completely unrelated to wifi. The BU353 doesn't need (or have a connection) for an external antennal. There are other GPS receivers that do, however.

), then yo can add teh external antenna. I have a 7dbi gain antenna on a big honkin' ugly-*** magnetic mount and I can pick up access points from as far as a half-mile away. The antenna itselt looks like one of those curly-Q cellphone antennas.
