Blackjack Internet

Ok, I have a BlueSoleil BT adapter and a Samsung Blackjack. When I connect the adapter and the phone it doesn't show dial-up networking as being supported. I found that DUN was removed in recent versions of WM5 and replaced with Internet Sharing, but I can't find Internet Sharing on my phone. What do I need to do to get internet to my computer over BT with my Blackjack?

Found this online:
You will need the following:

1) A BlackJack (Samsung i607)
2) A data plan, unless you want to quickly go bankrupt :-)
3) A Bluetooth adapter
4) Windows XP SP2's Bluetooth stack (others may work, not tested yet)

Step 1: Pair the computer and your Blackjack using steps discussed in the manual.

Step 2: Launch the "Internet Sharing" application on your BlackJack. It can be found in the \Windows folder. (To locate it: Start -> Applications -> File Explorer -> \Windows -> Internet Sharing)

Step 3: Choose "Bluetooth PAN" as the PC connection, and "MEdia Net" as the network connection

Step 4: Hit "Connect" (left soft key)

Step 5: On the PC, go to Start > Network Connections. Click on the "Bluetooth network connection" icon. Choose your BlackJack, and hit Connect.

I was having problems connecting my blackjack via BT until I read the above post. Works perfectly! Thanks! When trying to connect to my slingbox via BT and blackjack, iget the following:

Connection attempt failed. Make sure Slingbox is on, setup for remote viewing, and not blocked by firewall/NAT settings.

Error: 0x8007274c

I am able to access the slingbox when I connect my laptop via router. Do you know if Cingular/ATT has a firewall.

cingulat/ATT does have a firewall and they do block some ports look around on howardforums for more information on how to get around it.. etc

what dataplan are you using? I just talked to a cingular store and they said i can get the Smartphone Connect plan for $19.99, but the website says i need the PDA connect plan for $39.99.
