They have lots of options.
It has a RP-SMA connector, and I need a metal base and it has to be waterproof. Anyone know of good nice external antenna and base? Not really versed in antenna stuff.
Thank you.

Personally, I like wilson electronics cellular antennas... http://wilsonelectronics.com/ . They have glassmounts, mag mounts of varying sizes, all the way up to building antennas, and amps for all of the above.

Thanks for the link Craw, can you use those cellular antennas to work with a wifi card?
Just wondering, does the magnet increase the signal using the car body or something? I had a magenet antenna before (the Oronico wifi), they can be messy, start to rust and if you leave it long enough its very hard to get rid of the rust circle.

whoops, I didn't realize that was a wifi card, and not a cellular card... In that case, no, those antennas won't work for your wifi card. I use Hyperlink Technologies for my wifi parts. (www.hyperlinktech.com) They have an assortment of mag-mount wifi antennas that should work well for you. Most mag-mount antennas do use the vehicle as a ground plane, which does improve the ability of the antenna, but it's so much so that if you don't have it on a metal plane, the antenna virtually won't work. I do understand the whole mag-mount dislike, but when you don't have any other options...I guess ya gotta go with it...
