Can someone tell me spacificly how to set up my lap top to get internet with my treo 700? I do have unlimited internet and i do have the soft ware down loaded.
You have to create a dial up networking connection on your computer, and connect to it by dialing #777
Beware, even thought you have unlimited internet on your phone most carriers requare a PAM (phone as modem) plan which is an additional charge. If you tether without this plan your carrier will most likely know and charge you per KB.
There are hacks to avoid the charges (at least for Sprint) so search google or something about it...

The easiest way to make your computer use your phone, with little effort is to use pdanet. Not a free program though~

Well I did find a site and downloaded software which works perfectly. I even got it to work with the bluetooth and no problems. Thanks guys for all the help and here is the site I got it from http://http://www.gabrielserafini.co...nt-evdo-speeds
