How do I strengthen my signal?

You drive a sportscar though. if its in the back, you have a huge glass window for it to pass through. Mine is a gaint bulky truck... i will try to see how it works in this small comprtment i have in the back.... If it goes down to 90 or 80% i'll still be happy.

Im thinking of buying a wireless booster, then buying a smaller antenna.

I was suggesting if you have a plastic bed liner, take off that huge mag base and slide the antenna between the liner and the bed. Should see through the plastic fine.

I dont drive a Dakota, I drive the Durango, the SUV version of the Dakota. Im going to try the booster, and maybe create some time of spring setup so the antenna bends

lol, well technically it is a truck... well half truck and half mini van. The earliar Durango's front half was the Dodge Dakota and the second half was a modified Dodge Caravan body.

Have you heard about boosters? I heard that they give cancer, but I see in the article its installed in a car. http://www.wpsantennas.com/index.asp...WPROD&ProdID=2 combined with the antenna i have now that should be supper stable.

Daniel..... i am having issues with my GPS reciever and it turns out i can use the built in reciever on my 595U. Does yours have this option also? If yes, has it affected your signal strength in any way? Does this card actually connect to GPS satallites or is it using triangulation?

It's VZNavigator, isn't it? I don't have that option and I am pretty sure it's triangulation.

Im using the Sprint Version. I read that it has a seperate antenna for GPS. Im going to try and play with it. If i can see multiple satallites, then it shouldnt be triangulation. No point in calling Sprint, they know nothing at all. My GPS reciever is having major issues because of all the wireless equipment I have, so i may use the Sprint GPS. I just hope its not hard to setup with iGuidance.
