Anyone? Please?
I'm getting kind of aggrevated here. I've been searching the forum up and down, but I still can't find anything. I want to connect my phone to my carputer through bluetooth, recieving and making calls over the speakers. I have PhoneContro.NET, but I can't install it. It keeps nagging about NET framework (which I have installed several times, even went through windows update). I've read about phoco which might be a good alternative, but I cant find a place to buy it. Isn't there any other software that could do this job? I am mostly looking for a freeware rather than have to pay for it :P
Anyone? Please?
PhoneCo is dead, no longer being supported. There is one that RR uses, I cant remember the name. CentraFuse uses one called BlueSoleil. Just to inform you though, I dont think anyone has come out with a 100% handsfree system via PC. BlueSoleil suffers from a echo issue, which they claim to be fixing.

FreeFone is one of the ones RR can use

Im not planning to run RR yet. So the only option I got then is BlueSoleil?
I just downloaded BlueSoleil, but I don't get it. All I get is a bluetooth icon in the bottom right screen, if I click this I can connect to my cell, and further I can browse through my phonebook, transfer files and a option that is called "Bluetooth dialed network" which I cant get to work. The whole outlook is very windows and is not suited for touch screens at all...
That because BS is just the hardware stack. It does the talking, Centrafuse does the prettying up.

Toaster is correct, if you went to BlueSoleil and downloaded their BT stack direct, it isnt even the same as the one used in Centrafuse. Centrafuse had a custom stack made for them. Not only does CF pretty it, but they make it easier to use with clear titling that even a 5 year old can understand. BS interface is garbage as a stand alone.

on BS's site they have a little free phone dialer program. It doesn't work with many US phones though it seems. It requires the ver 6.2.4 or newer.
easy thing to do is get a phone holder mount it on ur windscreen or dash.then just rewire and handsfree wire kit that u usually get with ur phone, wire the headphone wires into the microphone socket on ur pc and use the microphone wire on the handsfree kit;extend it and mou t it near ur head somewhere like perhaps on ur steering wheel.then create a keyboard shortcut which mutes and umounts the microphone socket on the pc.and if u want to go the whole hog u can then double up the headphone wire from the phone and connect it to the mute wire on ur car stereo, then when u get a call the stereo mutes the sound, but by doing that u will have to have a switch on the dash so when the stereo is muted u flip the switch and it unmutes the sound so u can hear the call etc,i cannot find a simple wayh to connect my htc touch pro to my car pc threw bluetooth for making calls, its so annoying
