Linux and AirCards?
Hi all,
I have installed Fedora Linux 10 but it's a bit buggy so I am going to try out LinuxICE or OpenICE. Are there any aircard options for these distros? I am looking for something that will give me access wherever I have a cell signal...is this possible?
Thanks!

It is possible in linux- I use a Verizon USB727 (Novatel 727) EVDO modem with Mepis 8 in both my car and an HP Mini netbook.
I am not currently using LinuxICE or OpenICE however, and I am not familiar with any specific applications, requirements or quirks in either.
But if you have kppp and a recent kernel, I would expect it to work just fine.

Good to hear, considering kppp and Ubuntu work fine together, and ICE is based on Ubuntu
Anyone else have experience with this setup?
