auto switch networks?

hi

is there an app that can select network automatic based on priorty?

that is if i'm at home the pc will connect automatic to my home wifi if that is availble or it will take the next choice i have defined... i have 3 network options (wired network, wifi and 3G) and they should be used in that order even if they are all availble

hope to get som input

You can set the priority of networks within Windows, no special app needed.

In WinXP go into Network Connections from the Control Panel.
Click on Advanced, then Advanced Settings.
Order the network connections the way you want.

If you're not using WinXP, I don't know where the same option is, because I've never had to look for it.

that was simple... but initial my thought was that it should disable the networks not in use, as to be very extra sure that it does not use my mobile broadband when at home
