Just call sprint and ask them (Can I use my PCS vision as much as I want on my laptop using your dialer software) they will say 'YES'.
this has been my experience after setting up unlimited vision.....

i downloaded the dialer software off of the PCS website and set it up with my user ID. I've spent lots of time using my laptop connected to the phone and I've also used the phone seperately....

    I've never been charged extra....

    more than one phone?

I didn't realize you could do this, but I just tried it with my desktop PC and I got a 145 kbps link and I could download at 16 killobytes per second. Even web pages loaded relatively fast.

But here's a question: Can you set it up with multiple phones for additional bandwidth? Becasue sprint allows you to add phones to your account for $9.00 each. With two phones there would be two channels. But does windows support this? (distributing bandwidth over more than one modem)

If so, this could be awesome. Streaming video from home....I could have digital cable in my car Now that would be nice

you can, the media works package is the best way to go, itcosts about 20 a month and includes Wireless Internet Express unlimited as well as some other things
just hook your phone up and set up DUN to work thru wix(Wireless Internet Express) and your set up

or you could use the csd settings , but you will be charged for airtime and bandwith

ive been using WIX for about 3 months, and ive transferd quite alot, my phone isnt edge so unfortunatly ive only been able to use the normal gprs connection i get about 5Kb/s which is tolarable for what it is, but its pretty damn slow

well I went and read the manual.

Then I did a on and I found this:

    http://support.microsoft.com/default...307849&sd=tech

Which vindicates my notion that it is possible. The only question is: Does sprintpcs support it? I'll search some more and possibly give them a call to find out.

If they do support it, I'll probably get a couple different phones.
