With T-mobile you can dial-in to a modem for no extra cost. Unlimited GPRS connection is $19.99 a month.

Vision and the 8100 is not a true "dial-up" connection, rather it just puts you strait onto the web

There's just nothing like being able to contribute intelligently and positively to a discussion.

Vision is the marketing term attached to SprintPCS data network. The service allows you to get online from any qualifying CDMA device such as a cell phone (Sanyo 8100) or network card (Merlin C201) in much the same way a NIC allow you network access as long as the device is authoized.

My recommendation if you are wanting to access your corporate network:

    1. Use Vision to access the internet, then VPN into your network or.......
    2. Use Vision to access the internet, then use web mail services.

It worked great on my laptop, Im building a fence this weekend so I won't get any time with my car but I'll hook it up next week as time allows. You can also create voice ringers. They are ringers crated from 11khz mono PCM files that can be downloaded to your phone for free. Let me know if you need any help and I can direct you to where to find the info and software.
