Thread: Ack! my orinoco usb->pcmcia adapter got dead

I don't know what happened, but somehow the usb->pcmcia adapter part of my USB Gold client got fried. I tried it on three boxes with 2 gold cards and I get an "unrecognized USB device" error message from windows. The card still works, but the computer I am using it in does not have PCMCIA slots. I saw where hyperlink used to sell just the adapter a couple of years ago, but apparently they don't carry it anymore.

I figure Im gonna have to get a whole new USB client, card and all, but I figured I'd ask before dropping any more money on this project.
