Cool ****! Where did you get the SIM from? I'm definitely doing this!

It says it connects at 235KBPS, but that's BS!!!

If we don't have a modem that uses the SIM cards what is the best prepaid type phone to get if we plan to use a USB cable? Or would a BT setup be better? I am definatley doing this too..... I can actually use it for my business to keep up to date inventory.![]()
I get the sane thing with mine, stating crazy connect speeds. I THINK it might be the speed of the BT connection, and not the speed of the WWW connection.Originally Posted by Rafster
However, glad to hear that the prepaid works. Time to get a cheap phone and a pre paid card.

...I love the French language...especially to curse with...Nom de Dieu de putain de bordel de merde de saloperies de connards d'enculés de ta mère. You see, it's like wiping your *** with silk, I love it.
I would be interested in this as well.
Let me get this right you buy a phone + prepayed sim card and you have internet correct? Then you just keep puting cheap phone cards on it to keep it activated correct?
If so info me.
Yeah, that's right.
What I would do is just buy the $100 card just right off the bat, it gets you to Gold Rewards status, and doesn't run out for 365 days. After that year, just add $10 card to it and you should be fine for another year.
Peace,

This is ****ing awesome... good find!!!

Im thinking laptop...
kickass - if I didn't already have t-mo I'd hit this up right away
Alright, I have been following you guys the last couple of days, and am not quite sure how all of this works. For every prepaid minute you buy, you can use the #99 trick to use those minutes on the internet? I saw the post a little while back about getting a tmobile phone to connect as a modem, and was hoping to use this to connect my carpc to the internet wherever there is tmobile service.
