ALRIGHT!! I finally got around to buying a USB cable for my Samsung e-105 and got this to work! Whooooohheeeeeeeh! Wireless internet from the car, here I come! Thanks for all of the informative posts.

Ok, I'm confused. Are you people using the t-zones at $5.00 a month?
or are you using the "free" WAP.
I've got the SonyEricson T610, how do I get my carputer online?

just wondering if any one has figured out if this still works with the pay as you go plans or if you have to have a normal contract with them to get this to work now

Damn. Thought this was a dead end nowadays. Whereabouts are you - it's possibly blocked in some geographical areas now. I've got a Samsung S105 - can I get the same USB cable you got? If so, I'd love to get details of how you managed it!

I'm in NH. For a cable for your phone, go to ebay and do a search for your phone or go to cellphonehacks dot com. They sell usb cables for phones as well. It really was pretty simple. I just followed the instructions to install the USB driver that came with the cable and followed the instructions in the first post. Here's a link to the auction I won. Looks like it's compatible with the S105 too.

I have an S105 and I got my cable from ebay. The seller was from Hong Kong but shipping was pretty quick. The cable was packaged nicely and it came with the current version of EasyGPRS which has the GPRS Wizard that makes connection real easy. You don't even have to remember the numbers or directions written on post#1 of this thread. Just not sure if it's free. Have to check my next month's bill.
