Bump....Anyone?
I have a Via M10000 loaded with Windows XP. I use a bluetooth dongle to connect my Nokia 3650. I am able to get the phone talking to the PC using dial up networking. However, when I attempt to open a web page I have no luck.
It's odd, I was using the exact same setup for a couple of weeks and all was fine. I was able to access the internet, use messenger programs, e-mail, etc. etc. etc. Then one day it all just died.
My carrier is AT&T and I have spoken to their techs twice with no luck.
I believe that ports may be closed??????? WAG (wild *** guess).
Can someone suggest some troubleshooting?
Thanks

What about email and messenger programs.
Also try 'pinging' outside addresses, like 66.102.9.104 google or 66.150.2.101 dogpile.com

From the CMD line do a IPCONFIG /ALL
that should then show up the I{ you've been given for that network connection, it should also give you the Default Gateway, try ping'ing that.
also try route print, that will give you your routing table, you can then see where your requests are being routed to
